I love PP (Phnom Penh) an interactive, developing exhibition connecting art, architecture and public action to make citizens see themselves as active parts of their urban environment and develop an awareness of their critical and creative capacity.
Participating artists have been given the chance to discuss and respond to the development of Phnom Penh through drawings, installations, photography and video.Ā
The art in the exhibition represents the liveliness and complexity of the fast developing city. Each artist has reflected upon the city and expressed their personal impressions of living and working here, and broader questions and aspirations for our future.
The exhibition was initiated and curated by Panca EvenblijĀ Participating Artists: Kong Vollak, Anders Jiras, Khvay Samnang, Piteak, Chan Isey, Both Piseth, Heng Ravuth, Lim Sokchan Lina and Panca Evenblij
I love PP was on show during the Architecture and Urban design month with diverse exhibitions, artist talks, tours, film festival, conferences and lectures in collaboration with Meta House, Centre Culturel Francis and Java Gallery.
